Adrienne B. Ellis is a Licensed Independent Professional Counselor in Maryland and in the District of Columbia. Adrienne completed her Psychology Doctorate Degree (Psy.D.) from Argosy University in 2005. Prior to receiving her Psy.D., Adrienne received her Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore in 1996 and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Morgan State University in 1993.
At this time, Adrienne provides therapeutic services individually to young adults, adults, and the elderly populations that are experiencing numerous mental health and dually diagnosed conditions. She has been trained in numerous orientations and considers herself to be eclectic in nature. She will often use specific approaches based on the needs of the client. For those clients seeking spiritual integration into treatment, Adrienne also has experience in this area where biblical principles can be incorporated.
Adrienne historically worked as a Psychology Associate where she provided psychological assessments to children and adolescents through contracts for the juvenile justice system. She also has a great deal of experience in working with children that have been part of the foster care system. Additionally, Adrienne has served as both Clinical Manager and Program Director of several Outpatient Mental Health Clinics. Adrienne has worked in the field for over 15 years. She currently is an Approved Clinical Supervisor in Maryland.
