Audra Lee is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with a decade of experience working in the social service sector. Audra’s path led her to obtaining her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Psychology. She later went on to receive her master’s degree from Seton Hill University in Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to practicing therapy, Audra has been teaching at a collegiate level in the field of psychology since graduating with her master’s degree.
Through experiences with family and friends, Audra developed a passion for understanding people, and being able to connect with them on a deeper level. Her passion grew into a stronger desire to assist people in their process of mental healing once she recognized the huge stigma connected to mental health that kept people suffering in silence. Audra’s philosophy is that “In order to begin creating change, one must first understand the complexities of themselves and their interpersonal relationships.”
Audra works with individuals, couples, and families with a specialized focus on systemic trauma & multicultural competency. Her primary theoretical orientation is Experiential while implementing techniques/interventions from Bowenian & Feminist theory.
Audra will assist in helping clients create a greater understanding of their unique selves and their relationships with others. Audra works with everyone, regardless of race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, etc. If you, your partner or family are having difficulty healing from past issues, working through present concerns or wanting to maintain a healthy future, this will be a great start to begin investing in yourself and your relationships.
