Carnisha Jobe is a Licensed Psychology Associate in the Washington, D.C. area. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Delaware State University. She is also a graduate from the Clinical Psychology Masters program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Currently, Carnisha Jobe is a doctoral student at The American School for Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Northern Virginia. At Argosy University, she is pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Carnisha works with children, adolescents, couples, and adults. She is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and family and couples therapy. Carnisha utilizes an integrative approach to therapy as she incorporates various empirically supported interventions to address the client’s personal motives, strengths, and vulnerabilities.
Carnisha helps clients work through anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, stress management, behavioral difficulties, relationship difficulties, life and family transitions, grief, and trauma.
