Jonathan “JB” Brandonisio is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland. He graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor’s of Psychology and moved to the DMV area to study at Loyola University Maryland, obtaining a Master’s in Clinical Psychology.
JB has experience working with Baltimore inner city youth in a school setting and with under-privileged adults with severe mental health diagnoses. His clinical approach is eclectic, and JB enjoys pulling from several different modalities as needed in session. Client-centered and humanistic approaches are at the core of JB’s approach, and he also pulls from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic approaches. JB works with adults, children in high school, and couples. He is a capable of working with a wide variety of issues and specializes in depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, adjustment issues, traumatic experiences, and men’s issues.
JB lives in Virginia and enjoys listening to one of his many podcasts on his commute to and from work. In his free time, JB enjoys running, reading, watching football (We Are…), and sitting by a blazing fire.
