Justina Hanna is a Licensed Psychological Associate in Washington, DC and is currently completing her doctoral degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, an APA accredited institution. She obtained her Master's degree in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology and her B.A., summa cum laude, in Psychology with a minor in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University. Justina joined CCCC to complete her APA accredited internship as part of the Mid-Atlantic Internship Consortium. Justina will practice under the clinical supervision of Dr. Simona Efanov and Dr. Barbara Brown.
Justina has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults to provide a variety of psychological treatments as well as psychological testing. Justina has clinical interests in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and eating disorders. Justina also provides couples therapy and she has completed the Level 1 Gottman training, an empirically derived couples therapy program. Justina is particularly interested in working with couples experiencing marital distress or those looking to enhance their marital relationship.

Justina aims to create a warm, trusting, collaborative relationship that enables her clients to explore and process their thoughts and feelings in order to develop personal insights, coping skills, and self-awareness to allow them to cope with challenges. Justina is trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.
