Kevin D. Morton began his working career by joining the Marine Corp in 1981. He served four proud years and returned to his home in the Washington DC area. While home he completed his BS in Health Care Administration. He worked as a manager and coordinator in the health care field for ten years before returning to Howard University to obtain his Master's Degree in Social Work.
Since graduating with his Master Degree in Social Work in 1996, Kevin Morton has had the opportunity to work with a wide array of people. While at Howard University, Kevin worked with teens who were working on obtaining their GED and needed emotional guidance along the way. Over the years, he has worked with troubled teens in group homes, homeless men, conducted parent training groups and worked with people who have had histories of substance use, depression and other mental health disorders. Over the past 15 years, Kevin has worked in the Homeless program at the Washington, DC Veteran's Association Medical Center. He is currently the Coordinator of the homeless program in the DC Veteran's Association Medical Center. Their goal is to end homeless for Veterans.
Kevin Morton continues to work with people who have issues and problems that affect their everyday life. It has always been Kevin’s belief that good counsel can help with a great deal of the problems we all face and that with this counsel life can be made easier and understanding can prevail. These are the goal that he continues to strive for.
