Ta-Keisha has a master’s degree in forensic psychology and is currently a 3rd year doctoral student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she is pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. She is also a part-time Applied Behavioral Analyst (ABA) Therapist and certified as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) working with children with autism.
Prior to deciding on the career of psychology she had extensive experience working with “at risk” youth as a juvenile probation officer in Maryland for ten years.
Ta-Keisha’s passion for helping others is what truly led her to the field of psychology. Her philosophy is that the assessment is the first step on the journey to obtaining services.
In terms of treatment, her clinical orientation is integrative consisting of Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) Therapy, and Individual Therapy.
