Denae Clinton, MA


 

     Denae Clinton is  a predoctoral extern in the 3rd year of her clinical psychology doctoral program (PsyD) at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She obtained her B.A in Psychology from the illustrious Fisk University and her M.A in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

 

     Denae strives to cultivate a safe environment centered around processing and working through one’s traumas and interpersonal issue. When working with clients Denae strives to place her client’s breakthroughs above her own uncomfortableness to ensure that each person walks out the office a more whole person. Denae is an advocate of incorporating faith into therapy when one has a strong biblical foundation.

 

     Denae is trained in cognitive Behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy and the humanistic existence approach. Denae is also in the process of receiving Gottman Level 1 training and DBT skills. Denae specializes in interpersonal relationship problems, anxiety, domestic violence, abuse and trauma.
