Dr. Roya Khanali, PsyD, is a bilingual clinical psychologist and is fluent in English and Farsi. Currently, she is licensed as a psychology associate and provides therapy to adults in life transitions with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, body image issues, self-esteem difficulties, relational issues, and trauma history. Dr. Khanali has extensive experience working with culturally diverse clients.
Dr. Khanali has her bachelor’s degree in science in English-Farsi Translation. She received her first master’s degree in clinical psychology from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. Her second master’s degree is in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Northern Virginia. She continued with her doctoral program in clinical psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, DC.
Dr. Khanali's primary theoretical orientations are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Short-Term Psychoanalysis.
