Sydney Rosen is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) at the George Washington University. This year, Sydney will be a doctoral intern at CCCC, within an APA accredited program. She has received her Master's in Clinical Psychology as well as her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Social Justice with a minor in Psychology at the George Washington University. Sydney will be under the clinical supervision of Dr. Finzi-Adams and Dr. Efanov.
Sydney has experience providing individual insight-oriented therapy to a diverse population of adolescents and adults with various psychological disorders including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Sydney also has experience conducting cognitive, personality, and diagnostic assessments with adolescents and adults. Her clinical interests include mood disorders (including depression and anxiety-related disorders), trauma, personality disorders, identity development, and interpersonal issues as well as couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
Sydney uses a collaborative, individualized, and integrative approach with a foundation in psychodynamic therapy. She believes in developing a strong therapeutic relationship to create an environment that feels safe for clients of all backgrounds to best suit each client's unique needs. Sydney believes that anyone can benefit from therapy.
