Dhrumi Savla, M.Sc., M.A. is a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School in Washington, D.C. She holds dual Master’s degrees in Psychology and has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic psychotherapies and neuropsychological assessments. Dhrumi has received specialized training in queer-and trans-affirmative therapy, suicide prevention, Emotional Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).


Dhrumi ran a private practice in India working extensively with teens, adults and couples. She brings particular expertise working with clients to resolve difficulties with ADHD, relationship dynamics, anxiety and OCD, depression and trauma, life transitions, work-life balance, and identity concerns. Her approach is integrative and client-centered. She tailors every session to each client’s needs, ensuring therapy feels collaborative, supportive, and empowering. Clients describe her as warm, attentive, and validating. Whether rebuilding trust in a relationship or working through the impact of anxiety and trauma, Dhrumi creates a safe, inclusive space where clients feel deeply heard and respected.
