Eileen Vermilye, LICSW

Licensed in Washington D.C, Maryland, and Virginia

Eileen is a clinical social worker, licensed in DC and MD. Recently retired from the federal government, she has extensive experience supporting adults impacted by chronic stress (especially work-induced), trauma, grief and loss, and perfectionism.  It is challenging to navigate life’s pressures on a good day, and sometimes we all need a sounding board, a release valve, a guide in tending to our mental health. Eileen’s work is individualized and collaborative, grounded in years of experience with a variety of clinical modalities.  She uses a trauma-informed and humanistic approach with CBT and mindfulness tools to help clients deepen insight, develop healthier coping mechanisms, improve communication patterns, and achieve greater self-acceptance and wellness.
