Gina Sangster, LICSW

Licensed in Washington D.C, Maryland, and Virginia

I am a 1986 graduate of the Catholic University School of Social Work and am currently licensed in DC, MD and VA. My approach to therapy is interactive and strengths-based. I like to explore family history and how it impacts our current lives and relationships. I believe in supporting people in making incremental changes, developing deeper self-awareness and achieving greater satisfaction personally and professionally. In addition to individual psychotherapy, I have a strong commitment to group therapy and other forms of group support such as 12-Step Recovery programs. While I don't assign pen-and-paper homework, I often recommend books, articles and other resources to help my clients reach their goals.
