Jessica Saalfield, LICSW
Licensed in Washington D.C, Maryland, and Virginia
Jess Saalfield is an independently licensed clinical social worker in both Virginia and DC. She received her undergraduate degree in women’s studies at Harvard University and her MSW from the Smith College School for Social Work in 2005. Jess works collaboratively with clients to establish a strong therapeutic connection and an effective course of treatment. She uses a client-centered and strength-based approach with a trauma-informed lens and psychodynamic perspective. She also draws from several evidence-based modalities including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to support her clients’ individual needs.
