Michael Vogtman is a fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Washington, DC and a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) that has been a member of the CCCC therapy team since February of 2022. Michael provides short and long-term therapy options based on client need. Michael’s approach is eclectic and combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, intersectional feminist, existential, and general counseling approaches. Michael has specific training in the treatment of addiction disorders including alcohol, drug, gambling and other addiction types.

 

Michael specializes in LGBTQIA+ issues and rights as well as being trained in the psychology of maintaining healthy relationships in two-person partnerships, polyamorous groups, and/or numerous other relationship types. Michael is well versed in disability rights and regulations as well as having a great deal of experience in working with clients with short and long-term disabilities.
