Sydney Garlick, LMSW

Sydney Garlick is a licensed social worker in Maryland. Sydney received her Master’s in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Michigan and has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Sydney has a passion for supporting adults and their families through various life transitions. She has experience working with adults and conducting group therapy. She also has experience with Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing approaches.  She takes a strength-based approach, leveraging individuals’ strength to encourage well-being and foster personal growth, while also providing a supportive nonjudgemental therapeutic environment where clients can feel seen and heard.  Sydney believes in your capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. She is eager to support you in becoming the person you want to be.
