Dr. Terrell Wyche, LPA

Dr. Wyche is currently a school psychologist with a certification in the District of Columbia (Washington, DC). Additionally, he is a licensed psychology associate in the District of Columbia. Dr. Wyche earned a Doctoral degree in the area of School Psychology at Howard University after he completed an internship at Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia. His dissertation topic was Teleconsultations in School Psychology: A Teacher's Perspective. He has years of experience practicing as a school psychologist in both charter and public schools in the District of Columbia, where he assessed students’ cognitive abilities, academic functioning, behavior, and social-emotional functioning, in addition to conducting behavior assessments and devising behavior plans. Prior to becoming a school psychologist, Dr. Wyche was a college level academic advisor in both Utah and Washington, DC. Dr. Wyche has specific interests in working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavior disabilities. Using a cognitive behavioral therapy approach, his main area of interest is focused on supporting students’ emotional and behavioral needs to achieve academic success in urban school settings.
