Marjorie Roberson, LICSW

Licensed in Maryland, Washington, D.C., Florida and Virginia

I have been a therapist since 2014 and became a therapist because of my own experience of being heard and seen with my own therapists. My approach is to help you create a safe space where you are able to share your thoughts and feelings without feeling judged. I like to work from a parts perspective with the belief that who we are, whether we like it or not, began its formation before we had language, in childhood. I encourage you to open up to feeling your feelings. I learned that my job is not to help you feel better but to help you learn to take care of yourself and your feelings when you are uncomfortable and grow in willingness to be uncomfortable.
